By downloading, installing, or using vKey ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

vKey is a desktop voice dictation application that converts speech to text using artificial intelligence. The service includes real-time transcription, AI-powered text correction, and text injection into third-party applications.

3. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

4. Subscription and Payments

vKey offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor Lemon Squeezy. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and it will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use vKey to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the Application
• Circumvent usage limits or licensing restrictions
• Use the service for unauthorized commercial purposes

6. Intellectual Property

vKey and all related materials are owned by vKey and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application for personal or business purposes in accordance with these terms.

7. Third-Party Services

vKey integrates with third-party services for speech recognition and AI processing. Your use of these features is subject to the respective privacy policies and terms of those providers. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

vKey is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Transcription accuracy may vary based on audio quality, accent, and background noise.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, vKey shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Application, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
